History of Active Heart Foundation

The Active Heart Foundation was born out of a deep sense of compassion and a relentless desire to uplift the less privileged. Its founder, Mr. Onyebuchi Collins Osuigwe a Nigerian residing in the USA, had always been moved by the struggles of the people whenever he visited his home country. For over five years, he devoted his resources to feeding and encouraging the needy, often reaching out to over 200 people at a time in places like Computer Village and local orphanages.
His generosity did not go unnoticed. Friends and well-wishers, inspired by his unwavering kindness, encouraged him to establish a nonprofit organization to expand his impact. From this heartfelt initiative, the Active Hearts Foundation was founded, with a mission to provide food, healthcare, and essential support to orphans, widows, prisoners, and underserved communities. Today, the foundation continues to be a beacon of hope, transforming lives and restoring dignity—one heart at a time.
